Product Description

The Full Ankle compression sleeve provides compression in a sleek, simple design that fits comfortably inside your shoe and provides support to your injured ankle ligaments.

It takes pressure off sensitive ankle tendons which may have been injured from overuse or acute strains and is an Ideal ankle compression sleeve for swelling associated with an injury to the ligaments or tendons of your ankle.

This full ankle support is an indispensable product for your “toolbox” if you have ever suffered from an ankle strain or sprain, since wearing an ankle compression sleeve post-injury has been shown through research to reduce re-injuries through increased proprioception - your bodies ability to know where it is in space.

For those suffering from Achilles Tendonitis or plantar fasciitis, the Full Ankle compression sleeve for swelling can provide warmth and support to your connective tissue, making it slightly more pliable and easing the pain associated with movement.

If you have arthritis of the ankle joint, this is a comfortable, easy-to-use product to help manage your pain.

What is the difference in styles?

The Full Ankle support is a sock-like sleeve that slips over your foot and ankle, covering the entirety of your ankle joint as well as the arch of your foot and your Achilles tendon. It is the preferred ankle compression sleeve for swelling, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendonitis.

The X-Fit Ankle Helix provides support in a figure “8” pattern, covering the areas that are most often associated with a sprain or strain of the ankle joint. It does not cover as much of the arch of the foot and only covers the lowest portion of the Achilles tendon. It is the preferred product for proprioception and for those who want as little material in their shoe as possible.

Proper fit is important

Please see sizing chart in product pics above

Please measure the circumference of your ankle, from your heel diagonally crossing the front of your ankle where it bends and going around and back to your heel. See the diagram for a picture. Please do not measure your lower leg. Please do not order based on shoe size.

It is too tight with socks, inserts for running which is what I really needed it for, but it is good for walking/hiking.

I had an old full ankle body helix model and needed to get a new one or two. When I tried them on they were slightly bigger. I didn't need a plastic bag to get them on so I am at times concerned about how much support I am getting.

Hi Edna,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Regarding your observation of our sizing, I would like to reassure you that we have not changed the sizing. The most common reason for a sense that it is not as tight as it was is that there has been a reduction of swelling in the involved joints. Is that a possibility?
Our team has reached out and offered a full refund if the products are still in a like new condition. We look forward to hearing from you!
