It is a daunting task to express how impressed I am with this paddle. I have been buying and trying the best foam core paddles from all of the major companies. I have enjoyed the transition from honeycomb to foam and really appreciate the performance improvements from Gen 3 to 4. This is the first paddle I have experienced that was exceptionally better than the others. Just like the others, it hits hard, has great feel, and delivers mind-blowing spin. The difference that elevates this above the others is that I can now hit drops and resets better than any other paddle that I have ever tried. I’m not sure what sort of witchcraft or sorcery that has been engineered into this thing, but I’m all for it. As of the writing of this review, I am waiting for my second one to arrive so that I have a backup or loaner if needed. As an added bonus, this paddle is $90 less than most of the paddles that it is replacing. The company is fantastic, caring, and responsive. I couldn’t be happier with this paddle and I bet that you will love it too. I am going to push these paddles to their limits and eagerly await what they have coming for the next generation.
Paddle is everything you advertise. Ball comes off hard if hot on center of paddle. Off center hits don't over penalize you. Spin is good too! Up there with the best!
Im always an aggressive player ever since my tennis days and this paddle suits my game and to my surprised I have a good control on volleys(occassional pop ups for sure)but my serve drive, volleys and takeaways just what I wanted;lots of pop and spin compared to my spartus olympus(softer than the f1).. im sold!! FYI,I added 3 grams of lead tape on lower half on the sides for added control..my new fave👍
much I like but still have to get use to the power. I'm hitting too many out of bounds as I try to hold back my swing.
Paddle plays true to what Body Helix advertised. Great power but much better touch and control
I've had this paddle over 3 weeks and really enjoy playing with it. I've seen some video reviews that say it's difficult to control, chaotic or jarring. Nonsense. Hit the cork sweet spot and it feels perfect, so you can let it rip but off-center shots are also controllable. My third shot drops and lobs go where I want them and resets are also under control. I recommend giving it a try.
This paddle feels so good. The cork pads add so much dwell and feel to the paddle.
I absolutely love this paddle. It feels very similar to the F1 and it fells great in the hand. The cork dwell pads definitely add dwell time and it is so fun to play with right now.
I wanted to order the F 1 but not a fan of elongated shape, then I saw the non approved hybrid model and at the price took a chance. I had a J2 FC+ that I liked but it lacks power and pop, the control is fine but does not win the point most of the time . As soon as I got the paddle I tested it in my carport doing drive serves.
So far it hits harder that anything I've ever used except the Mod TA Pro which was top power but it was all over the court and too many outs , I did not like it at all and was happy to send it back.
This F Hybrid has it all , power , pop and I can control it no problem, spin is fantastic too. If and when this model is approved it will sell at $195 without a problem and probably be rated very highly by the reviewers..
Best $95 I ever spent !!
Body Helix service is also very good and friendly, they really like their customers.
When I ask a question they return it quickly .
Thank You,
Body Helix,, GREAT JOB .
I have the privilege of buying and owning a bunch of other paddles - including other gen 4's like the Honolulu J2FC+, Gruvn Lazr, BnB Loco, and Ronbus Quanta. This Flik F1 is the one I go back to for my competitive games. I tend to end my points from the baseline and midcourt with big swings or smashes at the net. Pop ups in hands battles can be an issue, but it's probably because I have slow hands/reflexes. The biggest reason I go back to this paddle is because I can just take a bit off my swing and still have just as much power as my other paddles at full send. But if I'm on my game that day, full swings with the F1 is just so satisfying. Other paddles tend to feel hollow or light, but the F1 just smacks the ball around. Love it!
These tan/butter yellow pants are awesome for playing or hanging around at home. The fabric is somewhere between light weight and mid weight, good for moderate temps outside. Probably not great for really cold days. They are very stretchy, which makes them easy to move in and great for playing. Because of that stretch, if you want a snug/athletic fit I recommend you order a size below normal. They've quickly become a favorite of mine!
Outstanding paddle concept. Love the 13mm thickness and cork support. After finding the right places to add the provided weights, it has been become my favorite paddle.
Getting closer to perfection with every new paddle. They just don't make the average paddle. This has power, spin, pop with control. Great at the kitchen for speed ups and blocks. Add a little weight and it even gets better.
Best quality paddle cover I have ever seen. Great looking too !!! Body Helix continues to impress.
I loved this paddle when I got it but over the last couple of weeks I feel “dead spots” and it makes a different sound when I hit it in a certain place. Very disappointed.

Fliq paddle cover protect your investment. Well padded. Easy access. Great price. Forget about weak neoprene cases
Great power , feel , comfort all in one paddle. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
I can’t find anything negative to say about the F1 - hybrid paddle. I’m curious as to why some reviewers claim this paddle is hard to control - you can shape the ball and drop it wherever you want. Resets, 3 ball drops and dinks are very easy, I’m amazed at how easy it is to do an underspin/side spin baseline serve. Maybe I’m missing something, but this is the best paddle I’ve played to date and I’m an equipment junkie. If I find anything remotely negative about the paddle I’ll update my review, but as it stands now I’d rate this paddle (for me anyway) the best paddle I’ve played to date. I normally experience elbow and shoulder pain after 3 hours of play - I can’t say enough about how good the handle and balance is right out of the box. After a solid 3 hours with the F1 - no pain. Just one last thing - I’m 72 years young and the power in this paddle lets me keep up with a lot younger players. I’m a solid 4.0 rated player if this helps for anyone looking a these paddles. A great job “Body Helix” Thanks
