Description
The body helix X5 Standard is a Kevlar pickleball paddle with a honeycomb black polypropylene (PP) core, solid handle, and kevlar face layup. Its Standard shape is positioned for balanced play, control, and quick volleys, ideal for fast doubles play. Made with an 8 mm black honeycomb PP core, a Kevlar top layer, a solid handle, and a cushioned grip that helps dampen vibrations, the body helix X5 is the perfect weapon to take into battle.
Who Is It Suited For
The X5 Standard is suited to balanced play where pop and quick hands are both desired. Its sweet spot and consistency make it a match for players seeking control across their shots without a larger sweet spot and stability. At the kitchen, the paddle is more maneuverable and ideal for quick volleys and exchanges. The cushioned grip is intended for comfort during extended play, while the solid handle is an option for players who prefer a firm handle rather than a squishy one.
What's Included
Each package includes one X5 body helix pickleball paddle and one plush paddle cover.
Care Instructions
To ensure long-term durability and preserve the kevlar texture, regularly remove ball debris and clean the paddle surface with a paddle eraser after use and store it inside its protective cover. The paddle includes standard manufacturer warranty coverage against production defects at the time of purchase.

I think that after playing with the X5 it’s a bargain for what you get. The grit has held up well and it’s a very easy paddle to control dinks and resets.Very linear power available on demand. I have about 20+ hours of rec play on it from a 3.5 senior for perspective.
I don't recommend the wide face to beginners or anyone with weaker wrists. A wide face paddle can have mis-hits when contact is left or right of center. If you have more experience and stronger wrists to control a wide paddle, then this is a great paddle. It has enough pop for solid drives and I had great control on my resets. If you like a wide shape paddle, then definitely get the Body Helix X5.
I’ve enjoyed the Helix. Great control, nice placement. It’s upped my game.
X5 Kevlar Pickleball Paddle - USAP Approved
This paddle does the job. My instructor recommended the paddle and she was right on target. It is balanced and just right in feel and usability.
