For example, with the the Patella Helix, when you flex your leg the patella is supported but does not aggravate the tendons near the knee.

With no uniform compression the fabric would ram the patella into the tendons, providing no comfort or support.

How Does This All Work Together ?

The unique closed cell (latex free) rubber allows tiny air cells to exist within the material but it does not absorb moisture like a sponge.

This gives it the spring and flex that gives you total freedom of movement. When the human body dissipates heat, it creates a thin layer of moisture on the skin, i.e. sweat!

The moisture causes the Helix to adhere to your skin. As a result of this and the form fit technology the BodyHelix doesn't slip! Joint compression provides support for the ligaments and tendons reducing stress and pain on the specific area.
